Tovarna kos Slovenj Gradec Scythe Factory is taken over by the local People’s Committee and embarks on its own steady development journey. It now employs 32 workers.

The company joins the Gorenje Holding group and is transformed to Gorenje Fecro, tovarna kovinskih izdelkov metal factory, continuing its transformation, expansion and growth.
The production of milk coolers with a capacity of 350 l to 1200 l begins.
NIEROS Metal tovarna opreme d.o.o. metal factory is established, being in 100% ownership of the German NIEROS KG concern.
The company obtains ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate.
A sister company NIEROS SSE is established in Germany.
NIEROS Metal tovarna opreme d.o.o is awarded 16 gold, 9 silver and 2 bronze Innovation Recognitions by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
The company's production process is robotized.
The company is awarded a Special Innovation Recognition for its Welding Expert System innovation by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
